Visiting Students
Whether you’re a high school student pursuing college credit, an undergraduate exploring a new campus, or a recent graduate preparing for your next step, we look forward to seeing you in the classroom.
Current High School Students
High school students who have not yet earned a diploma and have a cumulative grade-point average of B (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) are welcome to take classes at 海角社区. To register for classes, request permission from your high school counselor, and submit:
- A copy of your most recent high school transcript
High school students who enroll in courses at 海角社区 are responsible for paying the full undergraduate tuition rate for the cost of these courses.
Current Undergraduate Students
We welcome undergraduate students who are visiting from other institutions or who are not currently working toward a degree.
Visiting From Another University
If you’re currently enrolled at another college or university, you may attend 海角社区 as a visiting student provided you:
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 (C average) or higher on a 4.0 scale, and
- Are eligible to return to your home institution.
Students who do not plan to return to their current institution should instead apply as transfer students.
To register as a visiting student, please submit:
- A copy of your current college ID card
- A copy of your unofficial transcript
You will be registered for classes once our priority registration has ended.
Non-Degree Seeking Students
If you have not earned a bachelor’s degree and do not wish to take courses toward a degree, you can register for classes after JCU priority registration has ended. To register, submit the .
Post-Baccalaureate Students
If you already have a bachelor’s degree and are a non-degree-seeking student, you can apply to take classes for personal enrichment, prerequisites, licensure requirements, or as a visiting student. Note that you can take unlimited undergraduate courses, but are limited to two graduate-level courses.
To register for classes, complete the and choose “Other Post-Baccalaureate work.”
